My name is Vicky Moeller and I am the owner, sewist, and designer behind Stitch Works Sewing Studio, L.L.C.

I create intentionally designed, lovingly handcrafted bags, wallets and accessories featuring premium, sustainable materials that are as practical as they are beautiful.

Cork is the primary material used in my bags. Cork is similar in durability and feel to leather but with several important advantages. Cork is not only natural, sustainable, vegan, and ecofriendly, but also water, stain and scratch resistant, extremely light weight and antimicrobial. I like to sum it up this way: think of cork as leather. . . with benefits.

Other exterior materials include waxed canvas and premium cotton canvas. Waterproof canvas is used as lining in all bags, making the interiors as durable, practical and easy-to-maintain as the exteriors.

I make each item myself in my studio in Calabash, NC using an industrial sewing machine and other heavy-duty tools to achieve professional results.
